| 11-7-2007 Hi Richard,
I LOVE this DVD it was a lifesaver! Thanks, Greg Q.

| 10-15-2007 Just a note to let you know that my hyper-tuned LXD75 performed BEYOND my wildest expectations during the Delmarva Stargazers No Frill Star Party this last week. If you remember I had expectations of performing three-five minute guided exposures. I was able to perform guided sub-pixel accurate sessions or over forty minutes. I didn't take any images that long, but I let the mount track and guide on a star in Orion for forty minutes and I never seen wander more than 1.8 pixels. The skies were good and the seeing was good and I had a good star. I did take guided images over six minutes with no problems! So I definitely am convinced that your service was worth EVERY DAMN PENNEY! Thank you very much. Chuck Jagow

Just a quick note to let you know that the kit arrived safe and sound yesterday
afternoon. I have watched the DVD and I'm amazed that you did the whole Hypertune
without any edits. This has shown me how much time it actually takes. Personally
I think the DVD is a great idea. I'll be watching some of the sections a few more
times before I start to perform the Hypertune so that I'm more familier with what
to do.

I opted for the DIY DVD. I would *never* have attempted to tune up my own mount all on my own. But the instruction on the DVD made the whole process a breeze! I now have a mount that's noticeably smoother with minimal backlash. And when I did run into a problem with my scope during the HyperTune, these guys were on it in a heartbeat. The video said to remove the polar alignment scope, and showed it simply screwing out of the mount. But try as I might, I could not wrestle my polar scope out of the mount. So I stopped what I was doing and e-mailed for help, thinking that I'd have to hang up the HyperTune for the weekend waiting for a reply. Rich's reply was in my in-box about 4 *minutes* later! He explained that Meade (god bless 'em) sometimes uses lock-tite on the polar scope threads, and he offered suggestions for removing the scope with minimal damage to the finish. I sent several more e-mails over the course of the weekend, and Rich patiently and promptly replied to each one. Now *that* is service!

If your LXD55 mount doesn't do what you think it should, don't wait, have it
HyperTuned.

I had both of my mounts Hyper-Tuned and the performance is outstanding. I am
enjoying my trips out under the stars rather than looking forward to a tech session
every nite.

I just wanted to post a quick message to say that I just received my mount
back from having it "HyperTuned" by LXD55.com and all I can say is "Wow"!

I have been playing around with the mount since Richard hypertune it. I am amazed at how smooth it is now. Thanks for providing a service that truly makes the equipment enjoyable!
|
I had no problem getting everything like the DVD showed. WOW, was the movement
ever smooth now!
|
Very informative, you nailed it! Thanks Richard
|
Not being very mechanical, I didn't want to try this - but you made yourself available every time I had a question. Thanks for a great product and support!
|
So this is how the mount is supposed to work!
